NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED PROPOSALS for the “MGW Extend Runway 18-36 Construction Phase 1 ” for the Morgantown Municipal Airport, will be received by the City of Morgantown Finance Dept., Bid Number 2020-45, located at City Hall, 389 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505, until 2:00 P.M. Prevailing Time on Thursday, October 29, 2020. The proposals will then be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Council Chambers on the Second Floor of City Hall (late proposals will not be accepted). Corporate in-person representatives are limited to one per corporation and masks are required to be worn and social distancing is required. All proposals must be submitted as ONE ORIGINAL, ONE COPY & ONE ELECTRONIC PDF VERSION ON THUMB DRIVE according to the request for proposals and upon a uniform proposal blank. Bidding and Contract Documents may be obtained via eFTP link by sending a request to Lisa Dillow at . A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Morgantown Municipal Airport, Airport Management Building in the ARFF Training Room at 10:00 AM on October 5, 2020. A Webex meeting has been set-up for those unable to attend in person; Bidders wishing to attend virtually must request an invitation link to be able to access the meeting. Requests for the invitation link can be directed to Lisa Dillow at . The purpose of this meeting will be to familiarize the prospective bidders with the proposed project. The meeting will cover contract scope, security badging requirements, bid items, schedule requirements, and any questions from those in attendance. A representative of the Authority and the Engineer will be on hand to respond to questions from potential Bidders in attendance. A site visit for those in attendance will be provided after the pre-bid meeting. For those not in attendance, an appointment for a site visit may be made by contacting Kenny Myers at Kmyers @morgantownwv.gov . Masks are required to be worn and social distancing is required at all in-person meetings/site visits. Proposal must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier’s check, bank good faith check, or other irrevocable letter of credit or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of proposal and made payable to the order of the City of Morgantown.
