In addition to receiving 9-1-1 calls we also dispatch for the Lewiston and Auburn Police and Fire Departments as well as the Poland Fire Department. The consoles and storage shall come from the same manufacturer and be manufactured to industry and quality standards. All product manufactured by the vendor shall have a Lifetime Warranty from structural defects. All finishes for consoles and storage shall be matching. Bidder will be responsible for all measurements, angles, and dimensions. Personal and business checks will not be accepted. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, preferably executed on AIA Bond Form Number A311, in an amount equal to the total contract price, of a surety company satisfactory to the LA 911 Director, will be required of the successful bidder. The Contractor shall furnish proof of coverage with adequate insurance of the types and to the limits specified in the bid specifications naming LA 911 as additional insured. Certificate of such insurance shall be filed with the Purchasing Agent for his/her approval before permission to commence work will be granted.
