<p><strong>Performance and/or Design Requirements:</strong></p><p>Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) is in need of Phonak and Roger brand hearing aids for FY 2025-2026</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Estimated Dollar Amount Not-to-Exceed:</strong> $14,000.00&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Intended source:&nbsp; </strong>Sonova USA, Inc.</p><p>750 North Commons Drive</p><p>Aurora, IL&nbsp; 60504</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Justification for single source acquisition:</strong></p><p>Sonova USA is the sole US wholesaler for Roger products.&nbsp; Sonova USA sells Roger products to schools, dispensers, and authorized integrators for use in schools.&nbsp; Authorized integrators are agencies that provide multiple products and services to help schools and other organizations address multiple situations.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The Roger ecosystem of products includes Phonak and Unitron hearing aids, competitive manufacturers’ hearing aids, additional Roger accessories, Soundfield speakers, and ear level receivers for individuals with normal hearing.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Sonova,USA is the only entity equipped and trained to offer ongoing service to educational customers as the provider of service and maintenance on Roger products.&nbsp; All work completed by the service center allows the customer to retain the required strict compliance guidelines using original Phonak replacement parts.&nbsp; Phonak is the manufacturer and the only US source for Roger products.&nbsp; Phonak sells Roger products directly to educational programs and those products may not be resold.&nbsp; &nbsp;Service and maintenance on Roger products must be performed by the national service center in Aurora, Illinois. Using a service company other than Phonak will invalidate the products’ warranties.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>No other source exists for the parts and repair service for Phonak Roger hearing aid equipment and accessories.</p>
