Print Bid Title: On-Call Engineering and Related Services Category: Engineering Status: Closed Description: The City of Morgantown has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from engineering firms or individual engineering consultants to provide on-call professional engineering services including, but not limited to, concept design, development of plans and specifications, surveying, traffic studies, permit review, construction administration, and inspection services in connection with various City projects and planning activities. Proposals must be received on or before 3:00 p.m., July 6, 2022, at the office of the City Manager, 430 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505. Detailed information as to the specific services requested and the requisite content of written Request for Qualifications may be obtained under the related documents section of this bid posting or by contacting Ms. Barbara Morgan, Department of Engineering and Public Works at 304-291-7465 or . The following factors will be used to evaluate the proposals and to award one (1) or more contracts: Qualifications and technical ability of firm/individuals and evidence of WV Engineering License and/or WV Surveyors License; Firm’s quality assurance approach and ability to meet schedules and budgets (30%). Knowledge and experience roadway and intersection improvement projects, lighting projects, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, paved and unpaved trail development, small water crossing and/or bridge design, and other typical public improvement projects. (35%) Previous experience within greater Morgantown area and with the City of Morgantown; familiarity and knowledge of the City’s procedures, operations, and infrastructure. (15%) Reference reviews. (10%) Current rate schedule. (5%) Small Business, Minority-owned, Women-owned, or a Section 3 Business. (5%) Proposals may be held by the City of Morgantown for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date the proposals are due.
