Print Bid Title: City of Belfast-Cemetery Truck Bid Category: Cemetery Status: Closed Description: The City of Belfast is soliciting bids for a new pickup truck for the Cemetery Department. Following are instructions and/or specifications pertaining to bids. Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "City of Belfast - Cemetery Truck bid." Bidders are requested to submit their proposal to the City Clerk's office, 131 Church St., Belfast, Maine 04915 on or before 11:00 a.m. on April 30, 2015 at which time bids will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The City is exempt from taxes; therefore bids should reflect this. Federal excise certification shall be executed upon request of the favorable bidder. The City reserves the right to waive any formality or technicality. The award of the bid may be based on price, quality and/or service, and delivery date. Any questions concerning these bids should be directed to Steve Boguen, Cemetery Superintendent at 338-2264.
