Print Bid Title: Bituminous Concrete Paving FY20 Category: Public Works Status: Closed Description: CITY OF MONTPELIER, VERMONT BITUMINOUS CONCRETE PAVING FY20 INVITATION FOR BIDS The City of Montpelier, Vermont will receive sealed bids at the Office of the Public Works Director, City Hall, 39 Main Street, Montpelier, Vermont 05602, for the bituminous concrete paving of Stonecutters Way, Deerfield Drive, and Greenfield Terrace. Engineering Estimate $250,000 to $350,000. Bids will be accepted until 10:00 am, June 26th, 2019 , at which time and place all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids must be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked “Bituminous Concrete Paving Bid FY20” or emailed to Zach Blodgett at: prior to 10:00AM with “Bituminous Concrete Paving Bid FY20” in the subject line. Contract documents are on file and may be obtained at no cost from the Department of Public Works, City Hall, 39 Main Street, Montpelier, Vermont 05602. Upon receipt of the contract documents, all prospective Bidders must register as a document holder to be eligible to submit a valid bid. A 5% bid bond or certified check is a requirement of this contract. The City of Montpelier reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality or irregularity. Bids may be held by the City of Montpelier for a period not to exceed ten (10) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
