Print Bid Title: Media & Communications Surplus Ambulance Bid Category: Information Technology Status: Closed Description: The City of Belfast Media and Communications is requesting bids for the piece of surplus equipment listed below: Equipment: 2011 Ford E450 Ambulance VIN# 1FDXE4FS3BDA21402 The truck is being sold as is with no explicit or implied warranties. The winning bidder is responsible for the truck’s conveyance from City property once awarded. The Media and Communications Department has set the minimum bid at $2500 If you wish to bid on this piece of equipment, you must provide the following information: Name: Address: Contact Phone #: Bid amount (minimum of $2500) written out: This information must be sent or delivered in a sealed envelope to the City Clerk’s Office: Belfast City Hall Attn: Clerk’s Office 131 Church St Belfast, ME 04915 The envelope needs to be clearly marked with the following: “Media and Communications Ambulance Bid” All bids are due to the City Clerk’s Office on October 8th, by noon. Bids will be opened at or about 2pm the same day. The high bidder will be notified and will have one week to respond and provide payment to the City for the equipment (October 22nd). Should this bidder not respond or fail to provide payment, the ambulance can then be awarded to the next highest bidder at the City’s discretion. The winning bidder must arrange for the truck’s conveyance from the Public Works facility by the end of October 2025. The City of Belfast reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technicality or formality in the bids and to select any bid that it deems to be in the best interests of the City.
