Print Bid Title: The Purple Baboon/31 Front Street, Belfast - Insulation Category: Economic Development Status: Closed Description: REQUEST FOR BIDS THE PURPLE BABOON/31 FRONT STREET, BELFAST COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) MICRO-ENTERPRISE ASSISTANCE GRANT The Purple Baboon, located at 31 Front Street, Belfast, Maine, seeks qualified vendors to provide bids to perform the following tasks at its business location: 1) purchase and installation of a new floor; 2) purchase and installation of new insulation in the attic; and 3) purchase and installation of insulation in new floor/crawl space. (Additional minor tasks are included in the complete scope of work.) Separate prices are sought for each of the above three major tasks. This work is partially funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Micro-Enterprise Assistance Grant and is subject to all federal and state requirements for this program. The full bid package can be requested from Thomas Kittredge, Economic Development Director, City of Belfast (131 Church Street, Belfast; (207) 338-3370 ext. 16; ), or can be downloaded at www.cityofbelfast.org/The_Purple_Baboon. Bids are due at 4:00 PM, Friday, February 21, 2014, at the office of Thomas Kittredge, Economic Development Director, City of Belfast (top floor, Belfast City Hall, 131 Church Street, Belfast, Maine 04915.) The bid opening will take place at the same location at 4:05 PM, Friday, February 21, 2014, and is open to the public. A voluntary pre-bid meeting/walk-through of the property will take place on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM, at The Purple Baboon, 31 Front Street, Belfast.
