Print Bid Title: FY2024 Compact Tractor BID Buildings & Grounds Category: Public Works Status: Closed Bid Recipient: Public Works Department Description: March 4, 2024 The Town of Milton hereby requests a written quotation for providing a 25hp Compact type tractor for our Building and Grounds Division of the Public Works Department. The suppliers shall furnish the Town of Milton with a similar machine to the unit quoted for this proposal for a demonstration of two days so that the Town can ascertain the machines’ ability at no cost or obligation to the Town. Arrangements are to be made with Eric Gallas, Public Works Supervisor at 802-891-8008. Specifications are as follows: · 20-25 hp Diesel; PTO 20 hp · Cat 1 3-point hitch, drawbar with ball adapter · Hydrostatic Transmission · Hydrostatic Power Steering · R3 type Turf Tires · Rear PTO 540 RPM · ROPS · Full suspension operator seat · Hour run meter · 4-wheel drive with differential lock · A full warranty of 2 years/2000 hours shall be supplied for the machine. · Operation and Maintenance and shop manuals shall be furnished with the machine, (paper and electronic) · Max rear width 50” Alternate Specifications as follows: · Quick Detach Front Loader sized to tractor with skid steer quick attach bucket · Fully enclosed Cab · Front mounted sweeper broom The Town request that each bidder submits their bid on the attached bid sheet in a sealed envelope marked “Compact Tractor” All bids must be submitted on the enclosed bid form to: Town of Milton 43 Bombardier Road Milton, VT 05468-3205 (802) 893-6655 Any questions concerning this invitation to bid shall be made to Public Works Supervisor, Eric Gallas at (802)-891-8008.
