Print Bid Title: Request for Proposal - 2024 VFD Category: Public Works Status: Closed Bid Recipient: Lisa Schaeffler, Director of Public Works lschaeffler@miltonvt.gov Description: GENERAL INFORMATION The Town of Milton is requesting proposals from qualified companies for upgrades to the Allen Drive Pump Station. The company’s scope of work includes replacing the existing single phase submersible pumps with VFD’s for single three phase conversion. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled. PROJECT BACKGROUND The Town of Milton existing pump station has 7.5 Hp Hydromatic pumps. The pump station services 34 units and sees flows of 8375 gpd on average. Onsite power is 120/240V 1 phase. The VFD’s shall be installed on a panel board outside the existing panel. The VFD’s should be rated for outside installation and in a NEMA rated enclosure. Pumps will be wired to Mission Controls. They must have a hydromantic breakaway fitting. Pump design point should be 120 GPM @ 57 ft TDH. **See attached related documents for further details.
