Description
The project includes the following work: The UW ADA Parking Consent Decree project is an ongoing initiative to provide accessible parking (compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements) at key locations on campus in response to a Consent Decree imposed on the University of Washington. Phase 3.3 includes improvements at the parking lots C12, E04, E09, and N12. Scope at C12 includes, but is not limited to, selective site demolition, pavement removal, regrading, asphalt and concrete paving, striping, and signage installation. Scope at E04 includes, but is not limited to, selective site demolition, pavement removal, regrading, asphalt and concrete paving, striping, signage installation, storm drainage infrastructure upgrades, landscaping restoration, and temporary irrigation for turf establishment. Scope also includes removal of an existing light pole and installation of a new light pole and electrical infrastructure. Scope at E09 includes, but is not limited to, selective site demolition, pavement removal, regrading, asphalt and concrete paving, striping, signage installation, storm drainage infrastructure upgrades, and landscaping and irrigation improvements. Scope at N12 includes, but is not limited to, selective site demolition, pavement removal, regrading, asphalt and concrete paving, striping, signage installation, storm drainage infrastructure upgrades, and landscaping and irrigation improvements. This project contains scope that is under a Consent Decree. Substantial completion will be met when work is verified for compliance by Owner’s independent testing agency and, also, by an independent testing agency required by the Consent Decree. All prospective bidders must addend one of the following meetings: 2:00pm on February 19, 2026; Meet at E04 Parking Lot at 3200 NE Clark Rd. 2:00pm on February 24, 2026; Meet at E04 Parking Lot at 3200 NE Clark Rd. The sites to follow E04 will be: E09 near the intersection of Walla Walla Rd NE and Snohomish Ln N, C12 and N12. Anyone arriving more than ten (10) minutes late at E04 may not be accommodated due to multiple sites on the walk. Parking on campus is extremely limited so plan accordingly. Refer to the specific site plans in the drawing sets for additional location information. High visibility vests are highly encouraged to be worn.
