Print Bid Title: 2013 Military Avenue Paving Improvements Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Closed Description: Sealed Proposals for the construction of “2013 Military Avenue Paving Improvements for the City of Fremont, Nebraska,” JEO Project No. 291P8 (090456) , will be received by the City Clerk at the Municipal Building, 400 E. Military, Fremont, Nebraska, until 10:00 A.M. on the 13th day of September , 2013, and thereafter will be read aloud. The work consists of the following approximate quantities: 5,000 CY Excavation (Established Quantity) 9,240 SY Remove Pavement 14,215 SY Build 9” Concrete Pavement 29,896 SF Build 6” Concrete Sidewalk 7,183 LF Storm Sewer (Various Sizes) 40 EA Storm Sewer Structures 25,200 CY Storm Sewer Pond Excavation 38,800 SY Remove and Redistribute Topsoil (6”, Detention Pond) And Other Related Work and Appurtanances Proposals will be taken for said construction work listed above by unit prices, as an aggregate bid for the entire project. All Proposals for said construction work must be made on blanks furnished by the ENGINEER and must be accompanied by Bid Security of not less than 5% of the amount bid. Bid Security to be made payable to the Treasurer of the City of Fremont as liquidated damages in case the bid is accepted and the bidder neglects or refuses, to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance herewith. Plans, Specifications and Bid Documents may be inspected at the office of the City Clerk, Fremont, Nebraska, and will be issued by JEO Consulting Group, Inc., Consulting Engineers, PO Box 207, 142 W. 11th Street, Wahoo, Nebraska 68066, a payment of $100.00 to cover partial cost, none of which will be returned, needs to be paid prior to plans and specifications being sent out. In order to bid the project, the plans and specifications must be issued directly by JEO Consulting Group, Inc. to the bidder. The Mayor and City Council, reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and to make awards on bids which furnish the materials and construction that will, in their opinion serve the best interests of the City of Fremont, and also reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
