2026 Request for Proposals Street Tree Planting Services Spring-Fall

The City of Oconomowoc is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to plant street trees within public rights-of-way in the city. This project supports the Municipality’s urban forestry program goals, including canopy expansion, species diversity, public safety, and long-term tree health. The selected Contractor will purchase, house and plant new street trees during the spring and fall, 2026 planting seasons. Work will generally include site preparation, tree delivery, planting, staking (only if needed), mulching, watering at installation, adding tree protectors, initial inspection, follow up weekly watering for a total of 4 additional times and replacement of dead/failing trees during the one-year warranty period. Estimated Quantity: Approximately 309 trees shall be split up for spring (170) and fall (139) season planting for optimal species diversity.
