BLANKET ADVERTISEMENT FOR VARIOUS MINOR CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS (NOT for a specific project) Contractors who submit the form linked below will be added to a bidders list, and will receive notification from CSUDH on new bidding opportunities for minor capital projects. California State University, Dominguez Hills, is seeking qualified General Contractors holding either Class A, B, and/or C licenses, to perform various jobs and/or minor capital projects as needed through June 30, 2026. The University shall establish a shortlist of qualified contractors for possible future minor cap projects. The maximum dollar value of any individual minor capital project will not exceed $1,103,000.00. Contactors selected for award must be able to readily mobilize and begin work on such projects with a short timeframe; ten (10) to fifteen (15) calendar days; All projects require payment of prevailing wage rates for Los Angeles County, bonds, insurance, and mandatory 3% DVBE participation, and contractors are required to perform the work in compliance with CSU Contract General Conditions for Design-Bid-Build (Minor Capital Projects) and Supplemental General Conditions available at: https://www.calstate.edu/csu-system/doing-business-with-the-csu/capital-planning-design-construction/Documents/cgc_dbb_minor.pdf. Important Notice: California law (SB854) provides that "A contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, as defined in this chapter, unless currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5."
