Attached are instructions and/or specifications pertaining to the bid. Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "City of Belfast - Paving Project Bid." Bidders are requested to submit their proposal to the City of Belfast, 131 Church Street, Belfast, ME 04915 on or before Tuesday, August 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at which time the bids will be publicly opened. Please submit specifications of the equipment in which you are submitting. The City of Belfast is exempt from taxable services; therefore bids should not reflect Maine sales or use tax. Federal excise certification shall be executed upon request of favorable bidder. The City of Belfast reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids for any or all items covered in the bid request, waive any informality or defects in bids or to accept such bid, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City of Belfast.
