Print Bid Number: 1 Bid Title: Request for Qualifications Category: City Manager Status: Closed Description: Downstreet Housing & Community Development, Housing Vermont and the City of Montpelier are requesting Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection contracting firms to submit qualifications for proposed new housing and a new transit center facility at 1 Taylor St in Montpelier, Vermont. DEW Construction Corp has been hired as the Construction Manager for the project. The Housing component, (approx. 30,000 sq. ft.), will include 30 units of new construction of multi-family rental housing on three floors and an entrance lobby on the ground floor. The Transit Center portion of the project, (approx.. 2900 sq. ft.), will be a ground floor building. The scope of work will entail design build packages to be provided by the contractor based on performance specifications from the design team. Contractors must have comparable experience. The Transit Center portion of the work is being funded in part by the Federal Transit Agency (FTA), the selected consultant is required to agree with and abide by applicable Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements.
