Paving Bid Event Date: March 26, 2026 Invitation to Bid: City of Barre's Public Works Department Summer of 2026 Hot-Mix Asphalt Paving The City of Barre is pleased to issue an Invitation to Bid for the hot-mix asphalt paving in various locations in the City, under a single contract. The City of Barre has selected six (6) streets to be paved as follows: Auditorium Hill, Camp Street, Plain Street, Seminary Street, Spaulding Street and Warren Street. Please review the attached bid for all of the specifics. Each contractor is expected to review all of the streets prior to submitting a bid price. Any errors in pricing made as a result of not visiting the site, or an incomplete site visit will not result in an increase in compensation beyond the bid price for the project. A site visit with a designated representative from the City of Barre is available upon request by calling (802) 498-7118 or emailing pwsuper@barrecity.org . All questions are to be submitted to pwsuper@barrecity.org on or before Thursday, March 19, 2026. All questions will be answered by Friday, March 20, 2026. The bid form found within the bid document shall be submitted by email to pwdirector@barrecity.org NO LATER THAN 12:00 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2026 in order for a bid to be considered.Please click here to access the full Invitation to Bid.
